YOUTH SHG AT VAZHAVACHANUR
Since1996 we have started forming Self Help Group for Youth (Men). This year alone 300 youth groups were formed. Rules and regulations for both women and youth groups are given below:
The age limit to be a member of SHG is 18 to 45 years. As per Government norms the members of each SHG should be 12 to 20. But we have 20 members in our SHGs. In each SHG, each member is saving a sum of Rs.100/- per month. Our track records in SHGs are:
(i) Animators & Representatives Training (A&R Training), and
(ii) SHG Members Training:
More than 1750 SHGs formed in Villupuram & Tiruvannamalai Districts.
75 SHGs in Chennai.
Provided more than Rupees one crores as revolving fund to SHGs for their income generation activities.
Arranged PMRY loan to SHG member in North Chennai.
Formed networks for SHGs like Block/Ward level Federation, Zonal level Federation for all SHGs.

INN involved in different activities and began its educational and training programs initially for ten small villages, and at one stage its activities were spread in over three hundred and sixty villages.
