ENTREPRENEUR DEVELOPMENT TRAINING FOR WOMEN
With the help of Department of Industries and Commerce and Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women Ltd (TNCDW), we are conducting Entrepreneur Development Programme (EDP) training for Women in Self Help Groups and technically qualified Women (ITI, Diploma & Professional Graduates). This training is for 7 full working days. Training consists of 30 candidates per batch. So far 27 batches of training were completed successfully for 1018 trainees.
At the end of each training the trainees provide with a sum of Rs.280/-as stipend for each trainee (Rs.40/- per trainee/per day) and a training certificate. And two more trainings in simple chemicals and soft toys production cum sales were conducted for 100 for SHG members. Apart from the training, the Industries & Commerce department providing PMRY loan to all the trainees for their Self-Employment. Training ensures not only for their skills development but also for their Self-Employment.
