Tsunami Relief

With the help of our members, self help group members, youth and well-wishers, we were able to mobilise about Rs.50,00,000/-, which includes cloths, utensils, rice and other house hold articles. All these were distributed to the Tsunami affected people of Kasimedu – Chennai. The affected people were identified in co-ordination with local councilor at New Washermanpet. Some of the affect families’ children were admitted into our training centres, nearly 25 young girls (age 15 to 25) were trained for their self-employment.
