Physically Handicappped

During 2004, we have decided to start Self Help Groups and Income Generation Programme for the Physically Handicapped (Physically Challenged) people of both sexes. With the help of our staff and our training centers we are able to form 12 Self Help Groups for them. Each group consists of 10 members.  Four sets of training were given to all the members and 3 special trainings were given to the office-bearers of each group to maintain their records, accounts.  Revolving fund was arranged for all the groups to a sum of Rs.20,000/- for each group. Apart from this, income generation training was given to the interested members. Here is a person who is not able to walk-both legs are not functioning, is making chairs with plastic wire. He was provided with a tri-cycle.
